Complaints & Appeals

The journal provides a fair and transparent process for complaints and editorial appeals.

Complaints may concern:

• peer review;
• editorial procedures;
• publication ethics;
• reviewer conduct;
• editor conduct;
• published material; or
• journal administration.

Complaints must be submitted to the Editorial Office with sufficient explanation and supporting evidence.

Authors may appeal an editorial decision where they believe a substantive factual, procedural, methodological, or scholarly error affected the outcome.

If a complaint concerns the Editor-in-Chief, it must be handled by [Independent Senior Editor / Publisher Representative / Ethics Committee] who was not involved in the original decision.

An appeal does not automatically result in reversal of the original decision.
