Editorial Process

The normal editorial workflow is:

Submission → Administrative Screening → Scope and Scientific Screening → Similarity Screening → Reviewer Assignment → Double-Blind Peer Review → Author Revision → Editorial Evaluation → Final Decision → Copyediting → Proofreading → Production → Publication

Editorial decisions are based exclusively on:

• originality;
• scientific contribution;
• methodological rigor;
• evidence;
• relevance to scope;
• research integrity;
• ethical compliance; and
• peer-review outcomes.

Editorial decisions must not be influenced by an author’s:

• nationality;
• institution;
• gender;
• ethnicity;
• religion;
• political beliefs;
• academic position;
• professional status;
• personal relationships; or
• ability to pay publication charges.

Manuscripts submitted by editors, Editorial Board members, reviewers, or persons closely associated with the journal must be handled through an independent editorial process.
