Types of Manuscripts

The journal accepts the following categories of scholarly manuscripts.

Original Research Article

A manuscript reporting original theoretical, experimental, observational, computational, quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method scientific research.

Review Article

A rigorous synthesis and critical evaluation of existing scientific literature.

Review articles may include:

• systematic reviews;
• meta-analyses;
• scoping reviews;
• structured literature reviews;
• bibliometric analyses; and
• critical scientific reviews.

Review articles should provide meaningful synthesis, identify research gaps, and present directions for future research.

Methodological Article

A manuscript proposing, testing, validating, or improving a scientific method, measurement instrument, analytical technique, computational procedure, or research framework.

Technical Article

A manuscript presenting a significant scientific or technological development, system, prototype, algorithm, process, or engineering solution.

Data-Driven Research Article

A manuscript presenting substantive scientific analysis based on original or appropriately reused datasets.

The manuscript must provide a scientific contribution beyond merely presenting or describing data.

Case Study

A scientifically structured investigation of a specific phenomenon, system, technology, environment, intervention, organization, or application with broader academic significance.

Short Communication

A concise report presenting significant preliminary, novel, or time-sensitive scientific findings where this article type is formally supported by the journal.

Manuscripts must be original and must not have been published previously in substantially the same form or simultaneously submitted to another journal.
