Research Data & Reproducibility

The journal supports transparent, reproducible, and responsible scientific research.

Authors are encouraged to provide a Data Availability Statement for research involving data.

Where ethically, legally, and technically possible, supporting materials should be deposited in an appropriate repository.

Supporting materials may include:

• datasets;
• source code;
• algorithms;
• questionnaires;
• research protocols;
• laboratory procedures;
• simulation parameters;
• statistical scripts;
• supplementary figures;
• model configurations; and
• other materials relevant to reproduction of the findings.

Data should not be publicly disclosed when disclosure would violate:

• participant confidentiality;
• privacy;
• intellectual-property rights;
• commercial confidentiality;
• security restrictions;
• contractual restrictions; or
• applicable laws and ethical requirements.

Where data cannot be shared, authors should explain the reason.
