Digital Archiving Policy

The Journal of Interdisciplinery Islamic Studies is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published scholarly content.

Journal content is preserved through:

The purpose of digital preservation is to ensure that published scholarly content remains accessible in the event of:

• technical failure;
• server damage;
• platform migration;
• organizational disruption; or
• discontinuation of journal operations.

The journal maintains appropriate backup procedures in addition to any external digital preservation service.

Only preservation services that are actually implemented by the journal should be stated on this page.
