Special Issue Policy

Special issues are subject to the same academic, ethical, editorial, and peer-review standards as regular issues.

The Editor-in-Chief retains overall responsibility for the scholarly integrity of all special issues.

Guest Editors must:

Articles submitted to a special issue must undergo the journal’s established peer-review process.

A Guest Editor must not make the final decision on their own manuscript.

Manuscripts submitted by Guest Editors or individuals closely associated with the special issue must be handled independently.

Special issues must not be used to bypass ordinary quality-control procedures.
