Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting a manuscript, authors must ensure that:

• the manuscript fits the journal’s Aims and Scope;
• the manuscript is original;
• the manuscript has not been published previously in substantially the same form;
• the manuscript is not simultaneously submitted to another journal;
• all authors have approved the submission;
• author metadata are complete;
• ORCID information is provided where available;
• the official manuscript template has been followed;
• references are accurate and complete;
• DOI information is provided where available;
• conflicts of interest are disclosed;
• funding information is disclosed where applicable;
• ethical approval is reported where necessary;
• informed consent has been obtained where necessary;
• copyrighted third-party materials have appropriate permission;
• the manuscript has been anonymized for double-blind peer review;
• identifying information has been removed from the review file; and
• authors have read the journal’s copyright, licensing, open-access, and publication ethics policies.
