Submission Preparation Checklist
Before submitting a manuscript, authors must ensure that:
- the manuscript fits the journal’s Aims and Scope;
- the manuscript is original;
- the manuscript has not been published previously in substantially the same form;
- the manuscript is not simultaneously submitted to another journal;
- all authors have approved the submission;
- author metadata are complete;
- ORCID information is provided where available;
- the official manuscript template has been followed;
- references are accurate and complete;
- DOI information is provided where available;
- conflicts of interest are disclosed;
- funding information is disclosed where applicable;
- ethical approval is reported where necessary;
- informed consent has been obtained where necessary;
- copyrighted third-party materials have appropriate permission;
- the manuscript has been anonymized for double-blind peer review;
- identifying information has been removed from the review file; and
- authors have read the journal’s copyright, licensing, open-access, and publication ethics policies.
