Publication Ethics

The Journal of Interdisciplinery Islamic Studies is committed to maintaining integrity, transparency, accountability, fairness, and ethical standards in scholarly publishing.

The journal’s publication ethics policies are developed with reference to internationally recognized principles, particularly the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher are expected to comply with ethical scholarly publishing practices.

The journal takes seriously allegations involving:

plagiarism;
fabrication;
falsification;
duplicate publication;
redundant publication;
inappropriate authorship;
citation manipulation;
peer-review manipulation;
undisclosed conflicts of interest;
unethical research;
manipulation of research data; and
other forms of research or publication misconduct.

Where credible concerns arise, the journal may investigate the matter and take appropriate corrective action.
