Research Data & Reproducibility

The journal supports transparency and reproducibility in research where applicable.

Authors conducting empirical, quantitative, qualitative, survey, interview, ethnographic, computational, or data-driven research are encouraged to provide a Data Availability Statement.

Where ethically and legally appropriate, supporting research data may be deposited in a trusted institutional or disciplinary repository.

Research data should not be publicly disclosed where disclosure would violate:

• participant confidentiality;
• informed consent;
• privacy requirements;
• religious or cultural sensitivities;
• legal restrictions;
• intellectual property rights;
• archival restrictions; or
• contractual obligations.

Where data cannot be publicly shared, authors should briefly state the reason.

Purely theoretical, doctrinal, philosophical, textual, or historical studies that do not generate research datasets are not required to create artificial datasets.
