Submission Preparation Checklist
Before submission, authors must confirm that:
- the manuscript fits the journal’s Aims and Scope;
- the manuscript represents original work;
- the manuscript has not been published in substantially the same form elsewhere;
- the manuscript is not under consideration by another journal;
- all authors have approved the submission;
- author names and affiliations are accurate;
- ORCID identifiers are included where available;
- the official manuscript template has been followed;
- the manuscript has been anonymized for double-blind peer review;
- identifying author information has been removed from the review file;
- tables and figures are appropriately numbered and cited;
- statistical analyses have been reported appropriately;
- references are accurate and complete;
- DOI information is included where available;
- conflicts of interest are disclosed;
- funding information is disclosed where applicable;
- ethical approval is reported where required;
- informed consent is obtained where applicable;
- necessary permissions for third-party material have been obtained;
- research-data information has been provided where relevant;
- all required supplementary files have been uploaded; and
- the authors have read and accepted the journal’s copyright, licensing, ethics, and open-access policies.
