Waiver Policy

For Journals Charging an APC

Authors who are unable to pay publication charges may request a full or partial waiver where the journal offers such support.

The journal must clearly state:

Eligible Authors: [Specify]
Countries/Groups Eligible: [Specify if applicable]
Full Waiver: [Specify]
Partial Waiver: [Specify]
When to Apply: [Specify]
How to Apply: [Specify]
Decision Authority: [Specify]

Waiver decisions must be administratively separated from academic editorial decisions.

Whether an author applies for or receives a waiver must not influence:

• editorial screening;
• reviewer selection;
• peer-review recommendations; or
• the final publication decision.

For a Journal Without Publication Charges

Use the following statement instead:

The Journal of Management and Organization Research does not charge authors submission fees, article processing charges, page charges, or publication fees. Therefore, a publication fee waiver policy is not applicable.
