Types of Manuscripts
The journal accepts the following categories of scholarly manuscripts:
Original Research Article
An article reporting original empirical research using quantitative, qualitative, mixed-method, experimental, case-study, longitudinal, comparative, or other appropriate research designs.
Review Article
A comprehensive and critical synthesis of existing research that identifies theoretical developments, major debates, research gaps, methodological issues, and future research directions.
This category may include systematic literature reviews, structured literature reviews, bibliometric reviews, and other rigorous review methodologies.
Conceptual Article
A manuscript developing new theoretical propositions, conceptual models, frameworks, or interpretations that contribute to management and organization theory.
Case Study
An academically rigorous analysis of an organization, managerial practice, organizational problem, strategic decision, transformation initiative, or other relevant phenomenon.
Comparative Study
Research comparing organizations, industries, management systems, countries, cultures, sectors, or managerial practices.
Methodological Article
Research introducing, evaluating, or improving methodological approaches relevant to management and organization research.
Manuscripts must be original and must not have been published previously in substantially the same form or be simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
